I think I received a different book than the other reviewers, because my copy is not very good quality. The cover is made from cardboard it seems and the pages do not lay flat when opened like some of the other pictures I have seen. The pages are thin paper. But the artwork and book are beautiful. My 16 month daughter loves this book and looking at the animals and pictures. I just don’t expect the book to last through basic wear and tear, but for 4$ it is reasonably priced to buy another when that happens.
