Bone Awls from Ain Ghazal — These bone awls were made from animal bones and were polished to suit the purposes of weaving. They were also used for piecing and sewing leather. Neolithic period, 10200 -5000 BCE. From Ain (Ayn) Ghazal, Amman, Jordan. (The Jordan Museum, Amman, Jordan).
