Illustration
The Temple of Zeus Chrysaoreus (Zeus of the Golden sword) in Alabanda (or Antiochia of the Chrysaorians), an ancient city of Caria in Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). The temple was built in the 3rd century BCE. It is Doric with a peripteral plan with 6 columns on its short side and 11 columns on its long side and comprised a pronaos and a cella.
