Biography

Smiley Placeholder Learning about ancient cultures is fascinating because in many of the most basic needs humans are the same across time and distance, but culturally they can be vastly different from the way we are as a society now. I write fiction, so studying history is like building a whole new world one puzzle piece at a time.

I'm interested in nearly everything, but I'm truly passionate about mythology and history prior to the common use of gunpowder. My BA degrees are in English Literature and Ancient History, which was focused mostly on Greek and Roman history with post-Empire Europe thrown in the mix.

In real life I'm a business analyst in corporate America who shares a small house with two giant dogs (they run the place: I just live there), and I'm working on my first book. I blog regularly and can be found on Twitter sporadically.
