Nathalie Choubineh

I am a translator, researcher, and writer with publications on ancient dance, ethnomusicology, ancient history, literature, and drama. I have an endless love for books and reading, learning and exploration, travel and communication. With my BA degrees in English Language and Literature and Music, I worked as a translator and music teacher for two decades. Then, moving to England, I completed a master's degree in Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations at the University of Leicester and a PhD in Classic at the University of Reading. My research work is focused, specifically but not exclusively, on ancient dances in and across the Hellenic and Near Eastern cultures, particularly the dance movements as depicted in ancient artworks.
